Kevin M. Kenny DDS
Dr. Kevin Kenny was raised in the suburbs of New York City on Long Island before heading to Virginia for his undergraduate degree at James Madison University and dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. Then it was off to San Diego to begin his dental career as an officer in the United States Navy. After extensive clinical training and world travel, Dr. Kenny founded Bay Park Dental Group in 1988. Dr. Kenny kept up his strong association with the Navy as a reserve officer, going back or active duty for the first Gulf War, traveling yearly to various ships and duty stations throughout the world, teaching at the Naval hospital and eventually retiring with the rank of Captain. Dr. Kenny has always been a strong believer in continuing education. After completing over five hundred hours of continuing education classes and completing a three-day examination, Dr. Kenny received the prestigious fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Kenny was asked to join the staff of UCSD as an Associate Clinical Professor in the department of family medicine in 2007. His responsibilities include teaching future dentists and providing care to the needy at the UCSD Student-Run Free Dental Clinic in Pacific Beach, CA. Dr. Kenny enjoys providing comprehensive treatment for the entire family focusing on crowns, implants, and cosmetic smile makeovers. He enjoys his free time with his wife Jackie, golfing, traveling, and going to the beach with their two dogs: Frankie and Sammy.

Dr. Alexis Louie
Dr. Alexis Louie joined the team at Bay Park Dental Group in 2012. Dr. Louie was born and raised in northern California but decided to explore the east coast for college and dental school. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tufts University and then attended the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. After graduating in 2007, she then completed a General Practice Residency at the VA hospital in Long Beach, where she further advanced her medical and dental training. Opportunity and adventure brought Dr. Louie to beautiful San Diego where she met her husband and now calls home.
As a strong believer in life long education, Dr. Louie is constantly attending study clubs and seminars on topics such as CAD/CAM technology and implant dentistry. Proper patient education is also a top priority for Dr. Louie. She always takes the time to discuss with patients their diagnosis as well as their treatment needs and options. Dr. Louie has made it her professional and personal goal to create a welcoming, relaxed dental environment where her patients feel comfortable, at ease, and in good hands. Whether it’s preventative, restorative, maintenance, or elective cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Louie strives to fulfill all of her patients’ needs while providing quality dentistry above all else.
In her free time, Dr. Louie loves swimming, running, hiking, skiing, yoga, and enjoys the challenge and excitement of triathlons, adventure races, and mud runs. Her newest love is her 9 month old baby boy who keeps her busier than ever. Every day she appreciates living in a place that so many people travel to for vacation.

Dr. Sussi Yamaguchi
Dr. Sussi Yamaguchi is the newest addition to Bay Park Dental Group. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she eventually moved up north to San Francisco where she completed her dental education at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 2006.
She received her Bachelor of Sciences degree from UC San Diego and was an avid pre-dental student volunteer for the UCSD Student-Run Free Dental Clinics (FDC). Currently, she is the Assistant Clinic Director of FDC, running and partaking in the daily operations of 5 free dental clinics. Dr. Sussi has been practicing dentistry for 10 years and has been working with Dr. Kenny at the UCSD FDC. As a mentor to the pre-dental students, her hope is to inspire and instill in them the importance of giving back to the community and making an impact on the underserved population.
Fluent in Japanese and Spanish, Dr. Sussi is frequently combating dental disease both locally and gloally. She has participated with the US Navy's humanitarian missions onboard the U.S Naval Hospital Mercy and Comfort Ships. Asides from helping people, Dr. Sussi enjoys spending quality time with her patients, often making lasting friendships with those around her.
Her experience working with the pre-dental students as an educator and mentor is evident. Her ability to teach dentistry combined with her enthusiastic energy always makes her patients excited to see her. After spending numerous hours practicing dentistry day in and day out on humanitarian missions, in the FDC clinics, and in private practice, her well-roundedness makes her an excellent attribute to the team. Dr. Sussi enjoys clinical dentistry- her favorite procedures consist of restorative and treating young families.
In her spare time, Dr. Sussi enjoys the outdoors from surfing, swimming, hiking, biking, playing tennis, and climbing. She loves to travel and learn about new cultures, meet people, eat, and play the guitar. She is someone who is extremely happy and is always looking for adventure.
